Free is one of my favorite words and I like everything that is free. I can watch film, movie or documentary from around the world for free in social media, example Facebook and YouTube. There are more than 1.2 billion people using social network sites around the world in February 2012 and it is estimated will be increase to 1.5 billion people by the end of 2012 (eMarketer 2012).
Kony 2012 had captured a lot of attention from people around the world since it was published in 5 March 2012. There are two videos (Kony 2012 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4MnpzG5Sqc and Kony 2012 part II: Beyond Famous http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Ue6REkeTA&feature=youtu.be ) about Kony in You tube and vimoe. More than 100 million people had viewed these documentaries. Kony 2012 film is most popular among teenage girls ages 13 to 17, young men 18 to 24, and teenage boys ages 13 to 17 (Netburn, 2012). The main purpose of the videos is to give information about the cruelness of Joseph Kony to Ugandan, encourage and increasing awareness of people around the world to participate or take action about this issue. The LRA began its attacks in Uganda in the 1980s, when Kony sought to overthrow the government (The Times of India, 2012). Kony is the first guy indicted by the ICC due to his bad act such as abducting, raped, forced children to hold a gun and kill people. Kony had kidnapped more than 104.000 children and had 88 wives over last 20 years (Market Watch 2012).

According to Duval (2012), YouTube has advantages such as it ability to broadcast to an audience of millions people a cross the world can watch it as long as there is an Internet connection. On the other hand it is easier for people to understand the main information of the video or documentary due to the combination of text and image. Invisible children/Jason Russell has chose a suitable media in publishing Kony 2012 because once a video uploaded every people can viewed it.
